sleepless; incoherence
mindlessly mindful
sleepless
with recollections
partially incoherent
thought it was fatigue
yes it is, oh wait its not?
that's not how you define fatigue
not by engineering law
by rationality, logical reasoning
divergent thought processes I'll say
inept in dealing with the emotional state of mind of course
does it make sense? no.
no not all things do; some don't.

at the crossroads behind cover
living in the moment
leap and bound
bound to bound
into the rabbit hole - fall
barriers hit and detoured from
signals & signs watched out for
for the final objective;
mission;
the ultimate destination
at the crossroads to no certain where
how long are you going to remain under cover?
fall you must, fall
get up you must
maju depan; go.

before cessation.
day after day
the things you see, you hear, you touch
the people you interact with: tangibles;
the intangibles you feel
with your heart and soul
may the emotions fill you in
and the thoughts that set you pondering
remember to etch them into your memories
'cos you will look back, again and again
when either of these or you cease to exist.

meeting of eyes
converging focus
deep resonance
how intense can it be?
meeting of eyes
split second focus
shifting like a fugitive
how elusive can it be?

grazing focus
fleeting like trajectory
how remote can it be?
meeting of eyes
adjacent focus
non verbalised articulation
how would you know what it was supposed to be?

here there is
here there is
the usual golden sunshine
the usual flurry of people
the usual vantage point
the usual tasks to perform
the usual day ahead
for the future that you continue to wait
for the present you always live in
for the past that you've partaken
for the present you continue to effect change
for the future you always try to create.

youth
everyone has a different youth
some assumed more
some enjoyed more
not mutually exclusive, but more more and more
experiences that brings you round, round and round - nonetheless
perspectives added on, replaced or renewed.
right or wrong, judgement may not be of your call.
you gain some, you lose some
responsibilities you begin to hold
without a care at times you do follow
leave some space in the basket you're holding
for the yield of life's orchard is never ending.
there may be no cessation of youth
but when time flows, return it does not.
cherish the sweetness while it remains
also the anguish that takes you away
it all culminates in reminiscence and appreciation.

you shouldn’t chase after the past
You shouldn’t chase after the past
or place expectations on the future.
What is past
is left behind.
The future
is as yet unreached.
Whatever quality is present
you clearly see right there,
right there.
Not taken in,
unshaken,
that’s how you develop the heart.
Ardently doing
what should be done today,
for — who knows? — tomorrow
death.
There is no bargaining
with Mortality & his mighty horde.
Whoever lives thus ardently,
relentlessly
both day & night,
has truly had an auspicious day:
so says the Peaceful Sage.
- Theravada Pali Canon, the Bhaddekaratta Sutra (MN 131)

You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed
The fox gazed at the little prince, for a long time. "Please---tame me!" he said.
"I want to, very much," the little prince replied. "But I have not much time. I have friends to discover, and a great many things to understand."
"One only understands the things that one tames," said the fox. " Men have no more time to understand anything. They buy things all ready made at the shops. But there is no shop anywhere where one can buy friendship, and so men have no friends any more. If you want a friend, tame me..."
"What must I do, to tame you? asked the little prince.
"You must be very patient," replied the fox. First you will sit down at a little distance from me -like that- in the grass. I shall look at you out of the corner of my eye, and you will say nothing. Words are the source of misunderstandings. But you will sit a little closer to me, every day..."
The next day the little prince came back.
"It would have been better to come back at the same hour," said the fox. "If for example, you came at four o'clock in the afternoon, then at three o'clock I shall begin to be happy. I shall feel happier and happier as the hour advances. At four o'clock, I shall be worrying and jumping about. I shall show you how happy I am! But if you come at just any time, I shall never know at what hour my heart is ready to greet you ... One must observe the proper rites ..."
"What is a rite?" asked the little prince.
"Those also are actions too often neglected," said the fox. "They are what make one day different from other days, one hour different from other hours. There is a rite, for example, among my hunters. Every Thursday they dance with the village girls. So Thursday is a wonderful day for me! I can take a walk as far as the vineyards. But if the hunters danced at just any time, every day would be like every other day, and I should never have any vacation at all."
So the little prince tamed the fox. And when the hour of his departure drew near---
"Ah," said the fox, "I shall cry."
"It is your own fault," said the little prince. "I never wished you any sort of harm; but you wanted me to tame you..."
"Yes that is so", said the fox.
"But now you are going to cry!" said the little prince.
"Yes that is so" said the fox.
"Then it has done you no good at all!"
"It has done me good," said the fox, "because of the color of the wheat fields." And then he added: "go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world. Then come back to say goodbye to me, and I will make you a present of a secret."

1 Corinthians 13
Love
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

truths, pseudo truths, and untruths;
lies; pseudo lies and white lies.
not mutually exclusive.
-
people often tear down walls of the comfort zone that they choose to indulge in without realizing that they immediately come face to face to another set of walls that they require to identify and demolish before knowing what is actually going on.
